Aleksandar Pecuh, P.Eng, A.V.S. is an internationally experienced Project Manager and Engineer with history of working in government administration as well as in public and private sectors. With his 30 plus years of professional experience, Aleksandar has a strong background in multidisciplinary projects such as public transportation, materials management, mining, oil and gas, power distribution and transmission, etc.. Aleksandar completed his professional training both in Europe and in Canada. He obtained his B.Sc. Diploma from the Electrical Engineering Department of University of Zagreb (Croatia) and also he has completed several post graduate courses at the Electrical Engineering Department of University of Alberta.
Aleksandar has served with various professional and community associations and initiatives including: Board of Directors with CEMA (City of Edmonton Management Association), Board of Directors for IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) Northern Canada Chapter, former Vice President of CUDA (Canada-Ukraine Development Association), former member of Board of Directors for APEGA (Association of the Professional Engineers and Geophysicists of Alberta) Northern Alberta Chapter. Aleksandar has been an active participant with the Selection Committee for recently completed river valley Funicular Project near the Hotel MacDonald.
Aleksandar enjoys outdoor activities such as canoeing and biking in the river valley, cross country skiing, golf and tennis. He likes music, dancing and travelling. He is fluent in Italian, Croatian, and Ukrainian.
