Georg Josi is continually striving at tackling unique challenges. With over 20 years of international design experience, he has creatively left a mark on buildings, tunnels, bridges and rail/tourist infrastructure projects in Europe and North America. Georg grew up and started his career in Switzerland before moving to Canada in 2006. He now resides in Edmonton, Alberta, where he’s earned two postgraduate degrees in structural engineering.
As a principal at DIALOG, an integrated firm of architects, engineers, urban planners and other designers, he’s a hard-working team player that proudly bridges the understanding between engineers, architects and planners. Georg enjoys working with owners, consultants, and contractors to bring practical, cost-efficient designs that meaningfully improve the wellbeing of our communities.
When he’s not collaborating on an exciting project, he enjoys reading, listening to music, running (in the River Valley), hiking (in the mountains) and playing soccer. During cooler months, you can find Georg skiing in the Rockies with his wife, playing hockey, or traveling to briefly escape the Canadian winter.
